The smartphone market is facing severe losses due to coronavirus.

According to Strategy Analytics, sales of new smartphones around the world have dropped by almost 38 percent in February compared to last year.

While 9.92 million smartphones were sold in February last year, there were only 6 crore 18 lakhs in February 2020. Neil Moston, executive director of the market research firm, said the decline in sales was the biggest fall in the smartphone market’s history.

About reducing demand for new smartphones around the world, another director of the company, Linda Swee, said that due to Corona, smartphone production was not possible in factories in various Asian countries. Customers also could not go to the store to buy new devices.

This has happened because many people are unwilling to buy a new smartphone again.
