Snapchat now attracts you with its camera in 3D Right

Snapchat has introduced a new “3D Paint” feature that will allow users to quickly create AR Snap. As the name indicates, this feature enables users to portray their own face and everything else in front of the camera.

The 3D paint feature supports both rear camera and front camera. In this way, you are not limited only with playing with your face. You can use the feature to draw too much on anything that appears in front of your rear camera. If this feature sounds familiar, it is because it is similar to the AR Doodle introduced by Samsung with the Note 10.

Take a look at the GIF below to see how the 3D Paint feature will work when it is used for painting on a car.

The feature started rolling out for iOS users earlier this week. However, Android users will have to wait a while to use this new feature. Snapchat has mentioned that the feature will come to Android in the coming months. If you are an iPhone user, you can use this feature from the Create section in the AR bar of Snapchat.

Snapchat is actually placing bets on AR as a viable technology to increase its presence as a social media platform. The company recently collaborated with brands such as Spotify and OnePlus for AR lenses. The strategy changes are actually reflecting user engagements as of Q3 2019 at 210 million daily active users.

So, what do you think about Snapchat’s 3D Paint feature? Would you consider using it? Tell us in the comments.
